Standard Dosage Guidelines

BPC-157 dosing follows a weight-based protocol for optimal results. The standard calculation is 5-10 mcg per kilogram of body weight per day, administered as a single dose or split into two doses.

For 150 lbs (68 kg): Daily dose range is 340-680 mcg. Typical protocol: 500 mcg once daily or 250 mcg twice daily.

For 175 lbs (80 kg): Daily dose range is 400-800 mcg. Typical protocol: 600 mcg once daily or 300 mcg twice daily.

For 200 lbs (91 kg): Daily dose range is 455-910 mcg. Typical protocol: 650 mcg once daily or 325 mcg twice daily.

Most users find the middle-to-upper range (6-8 mcg/kg) optimal. Starting lower (5 mcg/kg) is prudent if you're sensitive or new to peptides. You can always increase at week 6 if needed.

Condition-Specific Dosing

While weight-based protocols work for most conditions, some issues benefit from adjusted dosing strategies.

General wellness & preventative: 250-400 mcg/day is sufficient. Lighter protocols support recovery and anti-inflammatory benefits without maximal loading.

Acute injury (first 4 weeks): 500-800 mcg/day. Higher doses accelerate healing during the critical early window. Reduce to maintenance doses after week 4-6.

Chronic pain or structural issues: 600-800 mcg/day for 8-12 week cycles. Chronic problems need consistent, higher-end dosing to overcome entrenched inflammation.

GI issues & leaky gut: 400-600 mcg/day oral or nasal. Gut healing is BPC-157's strongest application; standard dosing is sufficient.

Tendon/ligament injuries: 500-800 mcg/day injected directly at or near injury site when possible. This is one situation where higher dosing clearly helps.

Post-surgical recovery: 500-800 mcg/day starting immediately post-op. This window has the highest research support for dose-dependent acceleration.

Reconstitution & Math Formulas

BPC-157 powder must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water (sterile water with benzyl alcohol). The reconstitution concentration you choose determines injection volumes and vial longevity.

Most Popular Reconstitution Strength: 250 mcg/mL is the sweet spot for accuracy and convenience. This is calculated as:

Formula: 1mg BPC-157 + 4mL bacteriostatic water = 250 mcg/mL concentration

Why this works: 1000 mcg (from 1mg powder) ÷ 4mL = 250 mcg per mL.

Alternative concentration (100 mcg/mL): 1mg + 10mL bacteriostatic water. This produces larger injection volumes but is helpful for microdosing or those sensitive to injections.

Concentrated (500 mcg/mL): 1mg + 2mL bacteriostatic water. Produces very small injection volumes (1mL or less) for a standard dose. Useful for frequent injections.

Calculating Your Injection Volume

Once you know your reconstitution concentration, calculate injection volume using this simple formula:

Desired dose (mcg) ÷ Concentration (mcg/mL) = Injection volume (mL)

Example 1: You want 500 mcg and your concentration is 250 mcg/mL. 500 ÷ 250 = 2.0 mL injection volume. Draw 2mL in your insulin syringe.

Example 2: You want 600 mcg and your concentration is 100 mcg/mL. 600 ÷ 100 = 6.0 mL injection volume. Use a 10mL syringe.

Example 3: You want 400 mcg and your concentration is 500 mcg/mL. 400 ÷ 500 = 0.8 mL injection volume. Draw with insulin syringe for accuracy.

Dosage Timing & Frequency

BPC-157 has a half-life of approximately 30-60 minutes in circulation. This doesn't mean it leaves your body—it means active concentration drops, but repair cascades continue for hours.

Once daily (most common): Inject your full daily dose (500-800 mcg) at same time each day. Best injected in morning or pre-workout for performance benefits. 90% of users find this convenient and effective.

Twice daily (for faster results): Split your dose in half and inject morning and evening. Some evidence suggests slightly faster results, but adherence matters more than frequency. Only choose if you'll be consistent.

Pre-workout dosing: Injecting 30-60 minutes before training maximizes recovery and may enhance performance. If doing this, ensure total daily dose doesn't exceed your target.

Note: Doses above 800 mcg/day show minimal additional benefit. Most users find 6-8 mcg/kg optimal.

Cycling Protocols for Long-Term Use

To prevent tolerance and maximize long-term benefits, most users employ cycling protocols rather than continuous use.

Standard Cycle: 8 weeks on at full dosage, 4 weeks off completely, repeat. This prevents adaptation and keeps your body responsive to BPC-157's healing mechanisms.

Extended Cycle: 12 weeks on, 4 weeks off for those with serious healing goals. Slightly longer loading period but more pronounced results by week 12.

Maintenance Cycle: Once you've achieved your goal, reduce to 250-300 mcg/day maintenance or cycle 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off indefinitely for sustained benefits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Standard dosing ranges from 200-800 mcg/day. Most users find 400-600 mcg/day optimal. Calculate as 5-10 mcg/kg body weight: a 80kg (176 lb) person would use 400-800 mcg/day. Start at lower end and increase if no results by week 6.

A 1mg vial contains 1000 mcg, a 5mg vial contains 5000 mcg. The difference is only in total dose per vial. Once reconstituted at standard concentration (250 mcg/mL), both last proportionally longer.

First, divide your desired dose by your reconstitution concentration. Example: 500 mcg desired dose ÷ 250 mcg/mL concentration = 2 mL injection volume. Use tuberculin or 3mL syringes for accurate measurement.

Animal studies show excellent safety even at extreme doses (10,000+ mcg/day). However, doses above 800 mcg/day show minimal additional benefit. More isn't always better—consistency matters more than high doses.

Some evidence suggests twice-daily dosing (e.g., 400 mcg morning and 400 mcg evening) produces faster results than single daily doses. If trying twice-daily, start with same total daily amount split in half.

Reconstituted BPC-157 stored at 2-8°C lasts 4 weeks without bacteriostatic water, up to 8-12 weeks with bacteriostatic water. Store in dark containers away from light. Discard if discolored or cloudy.
